The School of Communication at the University of Havana calls upon researchers and students of information and communication to participate in the VII International Meeting OCOM 2013, that will take place in the Cuban capital the 27th to the 30th of November.
From the common platform of information and communication we intend to reflect, debate and establish cooperation networks related to the challenges of our societies and its emancipatory projects.
The central theme that will drive the debates will be: “Counterhegemonic information and communication in integration scenarios".
Papers should be sent before October 30, 2013 to icom2013@fcom.uh.cu in the format described at the end of this invitation.

Guidelines for papers:
By sending us your paper you are authorizing its publication as part of the record of ICOM 2013. The Academic Committee will confirm receipt of each paper within 72 hours, and will inform as to whether the paper is accepted or not, without the latter excluding the possibility of participation as a delegate.
