Scope

S-BPM ONE is established as the primary venue of conceptual and practical innovations in the field of Subject-Oriented Business Process Management. After initiating the transi-tion from primarily function-oriented BPM towards stakeholder-driven transformation of organizations based on BPM in 2012 and 2013, network-driven BPM will be explored for value creation in the 6th International S-BPM ONE. Becoming aware of the various con-textual factors of value creation in and through process networks, we invite interested practitioners and researchers to contribute their experience and knowledge to the Value.Net.Working.

Types of Submission

Please find the format of submission convenient for you:

• (S-)BPM Research Papers as the way to present quality state-of-the-art research in all related areas. Of particular interest are methodological approaches to support net-worked value creation. For researchers with interest in BPM, value creation, and net-worked systems this is a primary citation source. Submissions should not exceed 20 pages.
• (S-)BPM Experience or Application Studies for developers or users of (S-)BPM sys-tems having an interesting experience report to share about a network BPM product, solution or application. Submissions should not exceed 15 pages.
• (S-)BPM Interactive Education Material for facilitators wanting to share knowledge about learning to create value through BPM in network socio-economic systems. The education track is an excellent opportunity to co-create content and elaborated meth-odological findings. Submissions should not exceed 20 pages. They should include empirical evidence.
• (S-)BPM demos: This track is for practical work that can be presented to receive fo-cused feedback on BPM-driven value creation, and to demonstrate network capabili-ties. Submissions should not exceed 10 pages.
• (S-)BPM Value Network Challenge contributions: Specifications of network or cross-enterprise approaches to value creation targeting developers of S-BPM languages, systems and techniques are invited. They should clearly demonstrate the involvement of network actors and value carriers in socio-economic networks. (Research) Proto-types will be allowed for in-depth presentations. Each submission should contain suffi-cient details to judge the originality of the approach. It should not exceed 15 pages.
• S-BPM Gong Show contributions: The Gong Show will consist of short presentations about visionary and outrageous ideas towards S-BPM-based value creation in socio-eco-nomic networks. Selection will be based on submitted abstracts. If you have far-reaching ideas about either methodology or technology this the opportunity to share, get feedback, and even win an award. The submission required is a 5-page extended abstract.
• S-BPM Young Researcher Networking Event contributions: Master or PhD students in advanced topics of S-BPM, either in early stage or late stage, are encouraged to share ideas with peers and receive feedback in a relaxed atmosphere with senior people from research and development communities. Supervisors of master or PhD students are kindly asked to encourage their respective students‘ participation. The submission required is just a one page abstract reflecting the theme and status of the work.

For interaction and presentation various formats will be offered, enriched with keynotes to specific BPM topics.
Publication

Accepted papers will be published by Springer in LNBIP - Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing (scientific track) or CCIS - Communication in Computer and Information Science (other). Authors of selected papers might also be in-vited for publishing their work in national or international jour-nals, e.g., Universal Access in Information Society, Journal of Interaction Science, Int. J. of People-Oriented Programming, Social Technologies.
