Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||
The 2014 Asia-Pacific Conference on Computer Aided System Engineering (APCASE) is hosted by Binus University of Technology in conjunction with our sponsors. You are cordially invited to submit papers in any of the areas listed below. Please submit and register your extended abstracts via www.apcase.org link.
The conference has a format in that papers are accepted for presentation on extended abstract only. Then, at the conference, all accepted and presented papers are reviewed again, in a full version, in Xplore® Digital Library or Springer Studies in Computational Intelligence book. Prospective participants are invited to prepare an extended abstract (min. 500 words, as PDF file) according to the IEEE Transactions format, and electronically submit according to the instructions available on the Conference web site. Full papers, eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library or accepted for publication in Springer Studies in Computational Intelligence book must be prepared in the appropriate format. Some papers will also be selected for expansion into journal papers and invited to participate in the normal peer review process of IEEE Transactions. TOPICS The conference is structured as a set of parallel workshops listed below: • System theory and applications o Computer-aided system optimization and design o Cooperative engineering systems o Heuristic computation models and systems o Biomimetic models, computation & systems o Autonomous and autonomic systems o Model-driven system design • Communications and networks o Wireless network systems and technologies o Security and safety systems o Cognitive Radio Systems • Biomedical and health systems o Computer-based methods in medicine o Medical and health systems applications • Ubiquitous and ambient computing systems o Cloud computing systems and applications o Web-oriented and ontological systems o Mobile computing and applications o Internet-of-things (IoT) o Wireless sensor and actuators networks o Body area networks • Mechatronic and robotic systems o Machine vision and image processing o Haptic systems o Sensory systems and applications o Telematics systems o Real-time systems and applications • Software intensive systems o Simulation systems o Augmented reality systems o Social network systems o User and data centric systems • Engineering Smart Systems o System engineering of smart infrastructures o Precision and vertical agriculture systems o Engineering smart cities, buildings and homes o Smart laboratory and educational systems |
