The organizing committee of the Maendeleo Africa Conference (MAC) on Growth and Harmonious development is inviting authors to submit abstracts for papers and idea for exhibitions. The conference will be held in Johannesburg/South Africa 20-25 October 2014. The theme of the conference is “Managing Inclusive Growth and Harmonious Development in Africa." Abstract for papers must be related to the following conference' tracks:

1. Trade, Investment and Industrialization
2. Agriculture Value Chain Development, Food Security and Climate Change
3. Health, Education and Well-being
4. Youth, Gender and Popular participation
5. Governance and Strategic Partnership

Submission shall be sent by e-mail to francisco.ngongo@up.ac.za or maendeleoafricaconference@gmail.com.

Other than product demonstrations, all submission types require an abstract in the first instance. The Abstract should be not more than 250 words including key- words. Please ensure to provide the proposed title for the paper, the full names and email addresses of all authors. Please indicate clearly if the contact author is not the lead author.

Authors of accepted abstracts will have the opportunity of publishing their associated paper in the official conference proceedings. Selected authors will be invited to have their papers modified (expanded or reduced) for publication as special issues in a peer-reviewed Journal or chapters in a peer-review book.
