We are delighted to invite contributions to the 7th International Conference on
Intelligent Interactive Multimedia Systems and Services, IIMSS-2014, organised
by KES International.

IIMSS -14 is an international scientific symposium for research in the fields of
intelligent interactive multimedia systems and services. The aim of the conference
is to provide an internationally respected forum for scientific research in the
technologies and applications of intelligent and interactive multimedia systems
and services.

The conference will be co-located under the KES Smart Digital Futures topic with our
other Intelligent Systems conferences: IDT and AMSTA along with the
new STET (Smart Technology-based Education and Training) conference. Registration
gives access to all of these conferences together with a paper published in one set of

The conference proceedings will be published by IOS Press as book chapters in the
Frontiers of Artificial Intelligence and Applications (FAIA) series, submitted for
abstracting/indexing* in SciVerse Scopus, ACM Digital Library, DBLP, Google Scholar
and Zentralblatt MATH, ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index - CPCi which is part
of Web of Science. (*publisher's information)

Authors of selected papers presented at the conference may be invited to submit an
extended and enhanced version for publication in the Springer KES Smart Innovation
Systems and Technologies series (TBC).

Location
=======

The conference will take place on the island of Crete in Greece, at the Minoa Palace
Resort & Spa a luxury 5* beachside hotel, built within maintained gardens and having
a dedicated conference centre. The Minoa Palace lies 12km west of the city of Chania
and a 30 minute drive from Chania International Airport.

Chania is one of the most beautiful cities in Greece and thought by many to be the most
picturesque in Greece. Chania is a bustling city with both old and modern sections famed
for the Venetian Harbour, the old port, the narrow shopping streets and waterfront restaurants.
