IoIT: Internet of Intelligent and Autonomic Things
http://iaria.org/conferences2017/filesICAS17/IoIT.pdf Special Track along with ICAS 2017, May 21 - 25, 2017 - Barcelona, Spain The Thirteenth International Conference on Autonomic and Autonomous Systems http://www.iaria.org/conferences2017/ICAS17.html Important Deadlines - Inform the Chair: As soon as you decided and secured the financial support - Submission: April 13 - Notification with comments for camera-ready: April 20 - Registration: April 29 - Camera ready: April 29 In few years, the Internet of Things (IoT) will interconnect hundreds of billions of “things”. While IoT has the potential to change our way of life, it also has many open problems. On one hand, it is impossible for humans to manage manually the plethora of things. On the other hand, such “things” need to adapt to the ever-changing environment and requirements. Furthermore, one research trend is the development of intelligent and autonomic things, such as autonomic vehicles/robots/networks and smart textiles/electronics/pans. Internet of Intelligent and Autonomic Things might potentially benefit the world, the economy and our quality of life in many ways, such as smart agriculture, buildings, transportation, grid, clothes and healthcare. This special track invites researchers and practitioners from academia, industry and government to submit original contributions on a range of topics related to the Internet of Intelligent and Autonomic Things. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: - Applications and case studies of IoIT - Autonomic and Self-Adaptive Systems - Autonomic and Smart Things (e.g., vehicles, drones, robots, wearable devices) - Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) - Design methodology, middlewares, principles, infrastructures, and tools for IoIT - Dynamic, Adaptive and Reconfigurable Systems - Edge and Fog Computing - eHealth - Energy, reconfiguration, and mobility management - Intelligent and Autonomous Things - Machine to Machine (M2M) communication - Smart agriculture - Smart cities - Smart Transportation Systems - Techniques for learning and dynamic adaptation Contribution Types - Regular papers [in the proceedings, digital library] - Short papers (work in progress) [in the proceedings, digital library] - Posters: two pages [in the proceedings, digital library] - Posters: slide only [slide-deck posted on www.iaria.org] - Presentations: slide only [slide-deck posted on www.iaria.org] - Demos: two pages [posted on www.iaria.org] Paper Format - See: http://www.iaria.org/format.html - Before submission, please check and comply with the editorial rules: http://www.iaria.org/editorialrules.html Publications - Extended versions of selected papers will be published in IARIA Journals: http://www.iariajournals.org - Print proceedings will be available via Curran Associates, Inc.: http://www.proceedings.com/9769.html - Articles will be archived in the free access ThinkMind Digital Library: http://www.thinkmind.org - Articles will be included in the ICAS proceedings Paper Submission https://www.iariasubmit.org/conferences/submit/newcontribution.php?event=ICAS+2017+Special Please select Track Preference as IoIT Registration - Each accepted paper needs at least one full registration, before the camera-ready manuscript can be included in the proceedings. - Registration fees are available at http://www.iaria.org/registration.html |
