First International Workshop on Semantic and Collaborative Technologies for the Web
K-Teams 21-22 June 2011, Bucharest ROMANIA Organized under the FP7 ERRIC Project http://erric.eu Scope The primary goal of the workshop is to bring together researchers in the fields of Semantic and Social Web in order to share knowledge (approaches, models, issues, solutions, applications). Debates are expected on directions and possibilities of future research in the domain. We also expect to create a forum for further collaboration on this field of study. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to): • Semantic web technologies and applications • Ontologies • Reasoning and personalization based on semantics • Intelligent Information Systems in the Web • Intelligent Interfaces on the Web • Information visualization on the Web • Text Mining • Opinion Mining • Sentiment analysis on the Web • Semantic blogging • Provenance, reputation and trust on Semantic and Social Web • Semantic Grid • Parallel processing solutions for the Semantic and Social Web • Collaborative applications on the Web • Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning • Computer-Supported Cooperative Work • Computer-Supported Creativity • Groupware • Social Network Analysis • Social and semantic bookmarking, tagging and annotation • Enriching the Social Web with semantic data • Mining and analysis of Social Data • Ontologies for the Social Web • Querying, mining and analysis of social semantic data • Recommender Systems • Social navigation • Social search • Privacy, policy and access control on Social and Semantic Web Author Guidelines: Submitted papers should describe substantial and unpublished work. English is the official language for both papers and talks. Submissions are expected to do not exceed 12 pages formatted according to the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) style, which can be found at Springer website (http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0). All papers will be reviewed using a blind referring process by at least two members of the program committee. Submit a paper at http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=kteams2011 (please use an EasyChair account before submitting and select the appropriate workshop in the list when submitting. Also note that it is mandatory to use this site to submit a paper: papers directly submitted through e-mail will not be taken into account). Accepted papers will be printed in Proceedings with an ISBN, which will be available at the workshop.
