CALL FOR PAPERS
ICRA is the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society’s flagship conference and the premier international forum for robotics researchers to present and discuss their work. The 2018 conference will be held from May 21 to May 25, 2018 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre in Brisbane, Australia. The conference will include plenary, keynote and award nominee presentations, contributed paper interactive sessions, workshops, tutorials, forums, robotics exhibition, and challenges. CONTRIBUTED PAPERS Papers to ICRA can be submitted through two channels: 1. To ICRA. Six pages in standard ICRA format and a maximum of two additional pages can be purchased. 2. To the IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (RA-L) journal, and tick the option for presentation at ICRA. Six pages in standard ICRA format are allowed for each paper, including figures and references, but a maximum of two additional pages can be purchased.Details are provided on the RA-L webpage and FAQ. All papers are submitted in PDF format and the page count is inclusive of figures and references. We strongly encourage authors to submit a video clip to complement the submission. Papers hosted on arXiv may be submitted to ICRA. PAPER PRESENTATION All papers will be presented in interactive format in single-track sessions. There will be no spotlight oral presentations. Papers will be presented in a large and easy to navigate hall which will be the geographic focal point of the conference. All award candidate papers will have oral presentations in parallel sessions. Details of the presentation format will be available on the conference website. TUTORIALS AND WORKSHOPS Tutorials and workshops will be held on May 21 and 25, before and after the conference technical days. Tutorials will be invited. Workshops provide an informal forum for participants to discuss emerging and active research area and proposals are called for. Detailed instructions for submission of workshops can be found here. EXHIBITIONS The Conference will feature an exhibition between the plenary auditorium and the interactive paper space, and will be the location for the opening reception and for refreshments during the breaks of the conference.
