Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||
The Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications (JMAA) plans a special issue devoted to papers that are related to the recently solved Kadison-Singer Problem. Papers should contain interesting, original results. Survey articles should not be submitted. The relationship to the Kadison-Singer Problem can be close, e.g. extension of the methods of the solution or a substantially different proof of an equivalent theorem; on the other hand, the relationship may be more distant, as long as the paper makes the relationship clear.
Submission Format and Guideline All submitted papers must be clearly written in excellent English and contain only original work, which has not been published by or is currently under review for any other journal or conference. A detailed submission guideline is available as “Guide to Authors” at: http://www.elsevier.com/journals/journal-of-mathematical-analysis-and-applications/0022-247X/guide-for-authors#38000 All manuscripts and any supplementary material should be submitted through Elsevier Editorial System (EES). The authors must select as “SI: Beyond Kadison-Singer” when they reach the “Article Type” step in the submission process. The EES website is located at: http://ees.elsevier.com/jmaa/ All papers will be peer-reviewed by two independent reviewers. Requests for additional information should be addressed to the guest editor. Editors in Chief Richard Aron, Goong Chen, Steven Krantz Guest Editor Professor Charles Akemann, akemann@math.ucsb.edu Important dates Submission deadline: 1 July 2015 |
