The 7th, 2020 International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technology, CoDIT'20 (will be held from June 29 to July 2, 2020 in Prague, Czech Republic) – Sponsored by IEEE, IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society, GDR RO,... website: https://codit2020.com --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Session Chair: Dr. Abhaya Pal Singh, Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, India email: abhaya.singh@sitpune.edu.in Session description Fractional calculus is an alternative approach for modeling and control of a system, frequently opted by many researchers in the last few decades. Fractional order approach has the potential to provide a more accurate analysis of a system compared to its integer counterpart. This special session is dedicated to the developments towards the modeling and control of a system using a fractional calculus approach. The goal of this session is to bring new ideas in the area of fractional-order modeling and control, and provide a platform for researchers to exchange their ideas. The fellow researchers, academicians, industry experts, and students from engineering disciplines working on a similar topic are welcome to contribute to the session. The topics of interest include but are not limited to: ❖ Fractional Order Control: • Developments in the tuning of fractional PID controllers. • Fractional control strategies for different systems. • Robotic Systems • UAVs • Renewable Energy Systems • Sliding Mode Control • Adaptive Fractional Order Control • Developments of optimized control algorithms ❖ Factional Order modeling: • Dynamical Systems • Robotic Systems • Under-actuated Systems • UAVs • Developments of optimized algorithms for modeling • Renewable Energy Systems • Mechatronics • Electronic Devices and Circuits |
