The 11th International Summer School on Training And Research On Testing University of Cádiz, Spain June 29 - July 2, 2015 https://tarot2015.uca.es tarot2015@uca.es @tarot2015 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SCOPE TAROT (Training And Research On Testing) is a meeting point for people interested in the field of software testing and related areas. It provides a friendly environment for students to interact with practitioners and leaders in research both in academia and in industry. The program includes Intro Talks where students are encouraged to present their work, tools, and testing-related topics, and receive feedback. TAROT 2015 [https://tarot2015.uca.es] is organized by the UCASE Software Engineering Research Group [https://ucase.uca.es] at the University of Cádiz [https://www.uca.es], Spain. VENUE TAROT 2015 will be hosted in the beautiful coastal town of Cádiz [http://goo.gl/gUrRH0]. A well-known destination in Southern Spain, in the Andalusia [http://goo.gl/ZkNUxc] region, Cádiz [http://goo.gl/QE89Kf] is famous by its history, picturesque landscapes and villages, beaches, unique culture, and gastronomy. Following TAROT's tradition, we have aimed to an all-included registration. The event will be held in Hotel Barceló Cádiz (****) [http://goo.gl/hxIlZC], less than three minutes walking distance from Victoria Beach: https://goo.gl/maps/WP5mt The hotel is located in the middle of Cádiz main avenue, a vibrant zone with many things to do, well-connected to the historical downtown and shopping areas. Registration includes 5 nights in the aforementioned hotel, breakfasts, meals, coffees, and even the social events, including a lavish dinner at a gifted location. This is undoubtedly the best season in Cádiz, with long days full with the light reflected by the surrounding blue waters and nice nights inviting you to walk shoeless on the shores while enjoying an ice cream. At the beginning of our high season, excellent weather and slow-paced enjoyment of the venue surroundings by all the attendees is expected. Cádiz in July is a must-see for visitors, who enjoy strolling by the longest urban seaside in Spain and stare at the beautiful sunsets at Victoria, Santa María and La Caleta beaches. The nearest international airport is Jerez Airport (XRY), just 45 km from Cádiz. The airport is connected to Cádiz by taxi, intercity buses, commuter lines, and medium-distance trains. Registration types, fees and details are available at https://tarot2015.uca.es/registration. Early registration is available at a substantial discount by May 1. Attendees may want to share a double room for even further savings. Registration fees include: * Attendance to courses. * Accommodation: check-in on Sunday June 28, check-out on Friday July 3. * Breakfasts, lunches and dinners: from Monday June 29 breakfast to Friday July 3 breakfast. * Coffee breaks. * Gala Dinner. * Guided city tour. INTRO TALKS Students are strongly encouraged to briefly introduce their work at the Intro Talks sessions. Prospective speakers at the Intro Talks must show interest as soon as possible, even if they have not completed the registration process yet, as the number of talks and time slots available is limited. Please, send an e- mail to the organizing committee at tarot2015@uca.es (subject: Intro Talk) including your full name and talk title. GRANTS There will be a limited numbers of partial grants for students, covering 25% of the registration fees. Only full-time students coming from a low-income country or from institutions sending more than one student will be considered. Grant applications will be assessed in strict first-come first-served order. If you want to apply for a grant, please, send an e-mail to the organizing committee at tarot2015@uca.es (subject: Grant Application) by April 15, 2015. Please, indicate your situation (resident in a low-income country or your institution is sending several students) and provide a brief description of yourself and your work, including verifiable links. We will answer by May 1 and, if a grant is given, you will be required to complete your registration by May 15, 2015. Students receiving a grant are due to offer a short presentation of their testing-related work at the Intro Talks. IMPORTANT NOTICE Please, consider that, being high season in Cádiz, the organization cannot commit to accept any registration past the late registration deadline. Moreover, the number of places is limited (35 rooms have been reserved in advance) and will be processed in strict first-come first-served order. A registration is only regarded as completed when the bank transfer receipt justifying payment is uploaded by the corresponding deadline. An incomplete registration does not entitle you to any kind of reservation.
