The 2015 IEEE Symposium on Technologies for Homeland Security (HST15) has issued a call for technical papers to be submitted for consideration at the conference.
The focus of the call for papers, posters and tutorials is on emerging technologies in the areas of: Cyber Security; Land and Maritime Border Security; Biometrics & Forensics; Attack and Disaster Preparation-Recovery and Response. Abstract submissions should focus on technologies such as strategy and threat characterization, CONOPs, risk analysis. Also of interest are modeling, simulation, experimentation and training. All applications should be available for implementation within five years. Additional areas to cover are topics of testbeds, standards and evaluations. The conference historically brings together innovators from leading academic, industry, business, Homeland Security Centers of Excellence, and government programs to provide a forum to discuss ideas, concepts, and experimental results. This is the 14th such annual IEEE Conference on Technologies for Homeland Security and will be held 14 - 16 April, 2015, in Greater Boston, Massachusetts. While produced by IEEE, the event thrives with technical support from DHS S&T, the IEEE Boston Section, and IEEE-USA, plus organizational support from MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Raytheon, Battelle, and MITRE.
