================================== The 2nd annual IEEE International Symposium on Inertial Sensors and Systems invites you to the Big Island of Hawaii! Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel is situated on the sunny Kohala Coast of the northernmost end of the Big Island of Hawaii. Perched on the hillside overlooking the beautiful highly rated Hapuna Beach, the Hawaii hotel offers guests the perfect setting for a memorable getaway in paradise. With Hawaii's moderate tropical climate, you'll enjoy year-round temperatures averaging 75 degrees, northeasterly tradewinds, and warm ocean waters. Allow the soft ocean breezes and tropical foliage of the island to inspire learning and technical exchange in an informal atmosphere of this exclusive technical symposium. The ISISS 2015 will be a four day event with one day of tutorials and three days of technical sessions. Topics: * Sensors Phenomena and Modeling- theory, new physical principles, device-and-system-level modeling, multi-physics, deterministic/stochastic error models, predictive models * Sensor Systems- sensor arrays, multi-sensor units, inertial measurement units, sensor electronics, acutator systems, control of sensors * Low-cost Manufacturing- wafer-level fabrication, new micro/nano techniques, new materials, built-in diagnostics * Advanced Packaging- wafer-level, system-in-package, vacuum/differential * Advanced Test and Evaluation- low-cost test/evaluation, calibration of arrays, wafer-level test and evaluation * Aiding Technology- hybrid systems, gravitational maps, star trackers, vision * Emerging Applications- consumer electronics, medical, automotive, oil/gas exploration, target detection, military, aeronautical and space sensor systems, sports and rehabilitation Important Dates Abstract submission: October 1, 2014 Author Notification: December 1, 2014 Full paper deadline: February 1, 2015 Symposium Chair: Andrei Shkel, University of California, Irvine For further information, contact: Cynda Covert ISISS 2015 Administrator ccovert@conferencecatalysts.com |
