The Young Energy Researchers Conference with its two conference tracks, Energy Efficiency and Biomass, presents the work and achievements of young researchers in these fields. The conference offers an opportunity to interact with researchers and industry experts from all over the world. The 2 best contributions are honoured with the awards "Best Young Energy Efficiency Researcher" and "Best Young Biomass Researcher" and receive 1,000 Euro each as prize money.

The Young Energy Researchers Conference takes place on 27 – 28 February 2019 in Wels/Austria and is organised by the OÖ Energiesparverband, the energy agency of Upper Austria.

Call for Papers
Young researchers (born after 1983) are invited to submit contributions. A high-level scientific committee selects papers for oral or poster presentation. The organiser of the conference covers the costs of accommodation, meals, participation and local transport (3 conference days) for up to 60 selected participants. Submissions are invited from all scientific fields (e.g. technology & engineering, economic and social sciences, architecture, law, arts, etc.) and must be in English only.
