------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Webinar on WirelessHART Technology for Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This webinar will take place on Thursday, November 27 from 2:00 - 3:00pm EST Registration: http://www.cmc.ca/en/NewsAndEvents/Webinars/WirelessHARTWebinar.aspx WirelessHART is an international open-standard wireless sensor networking technology approved by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and developed by the HART Communication Foundation for process automation and manufacturing industries. The WirelessHART technology is based on IEEE 802.15.4 standard and provides an interoperable self-organizing mesh technology with a configurable, robust, and secure design. The WirelessHART technology has integrated many recent research results from automation and sensor network research communities. As a commercially available technology in the industrial wireless sensor networks (WSN) market, WirelessHART platforms can be used in not only industrial applications but also various R&D activities. This one-hour webinar will cover the latest topics of the WirelessHART technology and to give a tutorial/demo of the latest WirelessHART development platform developed by AwiaTech as well as the relevant research activities supported by CMC. Target audience of this webinar includes researchers and industrial users in wireless communication and networking, Internet of Things, automation, control, distributed systems, fault-tolerant systems, etc. As a result of this webinar, the participants will be able to learn the essential knowledge of the WirelessHART technology. The webinar will conclude with Q&A and an opportunity for participant feedback. |
