Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||
The NextGenCIT symposium has been formed to promote research and development activities focused on enabling and scaling next generation computing using distributed paradigms, such as cluster, Grid, Cloud Computing and Internet of Things. To address the growing needs of both applications and Cloud computing paradigm, NextGenCIT brings together researchers and practitioners from around the world to share their experiences, to focus on modelling, executing, and monitoring various applications on advanced computing and IoT.
In this workshop, we are interested in receiving innovative work on enabling and scaling computing systems to support the execution of scientific applications and IoT. The target audience include researchers and industry practitioners who are interested in distributed systems, particularly focusing on scaling of applications using Cloud computing. TOPICS The objective of this symposium is to invite authors to submit original manuscripts that demonstrate and explore current advances in all aspects of security and privacy in cloud computing environments. The symposium solicits novel papers on a broad range of topics, including but not limited to: Cloud Computing Cloud services reference models and standardization Intercloud architecture models Cloud federation and hybrid cloud infrastructure Networking technologies for data centers Monitoring, management and maintenance Operational, economic and business models Dynamic resource provisioning Scheduling and application workflows on the Cloud Cloud-based services and protocols Cloud model and framework Cloud scalability and performance Fault-tolerance of cloud services and applications Business models and economics of Cloud services Virtualization in Cloud Application development in Cloud Programming models and systems/tools Security services on the Cloud Big Data Data management applications and services Approximate and scalable statistical methods Querying and search Data Lifecycle Management for Big Data Frameworks, tools and their Composition Storage and analytic architectures Performance and debugging Hardware optimizations for Big Data Data Flow management and scheduling Security, privacy and trust on Big Data Internet of Things IoT cloud architectures, models Cloud-based dynamic composition of IoT Cloud-based context-aware IoT Security, privacy and trust in mobile IoT clouds SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not considered elsewhere for publication. Submit your papers in PDF file to the NextGenCIT-2015 online submission system here. Submitted paper should not exceed 15 pages, including illustrations. All papers must be without page numbers. Templates can be downloaded here. All papers will be peer reviewed by two or three PC members. Submitting a paper to the workshop means that if the paper is accepted, at least one author should register to DIPDMWC-2015 and attend the conference to present the paper. PUBLICATION OF PAPERS All accepted papers will appear in the proceedings published of DIPDMWC-2015 and will be included in SDIWC Digital Library.
