80th International Atlantic Economic Conference

Thursday, 8 October, 2015 - Sunday, 11 October, 2015, Boston, MA

OVERVIEW: Economists and financial experts from around the world will be brought together in Boston to present research and discuss the challenges of tomorrow. Participants will not only find opportunities for exchanging information and discussing current issues, they will be provided the chance to connect with leading researchers, renew acquaintances and forge new ones for collaboration or future employment. Economists, social scientists, educators, researchers, scholars, private sector and government executives along with anyone in the fields of business or finance are strongly encouraged to attend. Past speakers have included Nobel laureates, prime ministers and other high-ranking members of the profession such as Alan Greenspan, John B. Taylor, John C. Williams, Athanasios Orphanides, Asli Demirgüç-Kunt, John Wallis and Mario Monti. SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Submit your individual abstract online at http://www.iaes.org/abstract-submission/.

Become a member of the Program Committee by organizing a session with 4 to 6 papers or establishing a study/working group. If you are interested in joining the program committee, send an outline of your proposed session to Katherine S. Virgo, Ph.D, Executive Vice President at kvirgo@iaes.org. Please include a 250-400 word overview/summary of the proposed session, along with the names, contact information and paper titles of all presenters. Not more than 50 percent of the session’s authors or co-authors can be from the same department or center and a person cannot author or co-author more than one paper in the same session. The deadline to send proposed sessions is Friday, 15 May, 2015. If you need a deadline extension please contact us by phone (404.965.1555) or email (iaes@iaes.org).

Paper submission fees are waived for organized session participants prior to Sunday, 31 May, 2015, however each participant is expected to register for the conference.

*Note: Papers previously published or those scheduled for publication prior to the conference are ineligible.
