ROCLING-2010: Final Call for Papers
*** Submission Date Extended: July 12, 2010 *** Conference on Computational Linguistics and Speech Processing ROCLING XXII National Chi Nan University, Puli, Nantou, Taiwan. 1-2 September 2010. http://rocling2010.csie.ncnu.edu.tw/ The 22nd ROCLING Conference will be held in the National Chi Nan University, Puli, Nantou, Taiwan, on September 1-2, 2010. Sponsored by the Association for Computational Linguistics and Chinese Language Processing (ACLCLP), ROCLING is the most historic and major conference in the broad field of computational linguistics, speech processing, and related areas in Taiwan. ROCLING XXII will be co-hosted by the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering and the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Chi Nan University. The two-day conference will feature invited talks, paper, and poster sessions. The National Chi Nan University is located 10 min drive from the beautiful Sun-Moon Lake and is near the geographic center of the beautiful Taiwan Island. The university campus is itself a big farm in the past. The Puli town where it is located was exactly on the border between the Han people and the aboriginals of Taiwan. You will find it a joyful visit to this venue, and take a local tour, following the conference on the weekend, to the near-by scenic spots, such as the Cingjing Farm, Lu-Shan Hot Spring area, Aowanda National Forest Recreation Area, Hei-Huan Mt. National Forest Park, Yu-Shan (Jade Mt.) National Park, Tarogo National Park, and local Puli attractions. ROCLING XXII invites submissions of original and unpublished research papers on all areas of computational linguistics, natural language processing, and speech processing, including, but not limited to, the following topic areas. Papers will be accepted only by electronic submission through the conference website. The submitted papers should be written in either Chinese or English, and in single column, single-spaced format. The first page of the submitted paper should bear the paper title, author names, affiliation, and email addresses. All these items should be properly centered on the top, followed by a concise abstract of the paper.
