Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||||
HCSE is a working conference that brings together researchers and practitioners interested in strengthening the scientific foundations of user interface design, examining the relationship between software engineering and human-computer interaction and on how to strengthen user-centred design as an essential part of software engineering process. As a working conference, substantial time is devoted to an open and lively discussion of papers.
We seek high-quality, original papers that address the theory, design, development and evaluation of ideas, tools, techniques, methodologies in (but not limited to) the following topics: * Integration of software engineering and user-centred design * HCI models and model-driven engineering * Incorporating guidelines and principles for designing usable products into the development processes * Usability engineering * Methods for user interface design * Patterns in HCI * Software architectures for user interfaces * User interfaces for ubiquitous environments * Representations for design in the development process * Working with processes models like Rational Unified Process (RUP) or eXtreme Programming (XP) * Social and organisational aspects of software development in a lifecycle perspective * Case studies Papers must be written in English and not exceed 16 pages. It is strongly recommended that papers use the templates provided by Springer. Please submit a pdf-version and additionally a doc-file. |
