The workshop aims to create a forum where researchers, students and industry professionals can learn more about each other’s view on challenges and solutions within control, communications and algorithms for smart electricity grids. The workshop provides overview talks from researchers and industry professionals covering the following topics:
Communications for the smart grid: infrastructures and technologies (PLC, wired and wireless) Control of smart grid and microgrid Collection of smart grid measurements, e.g., from smart meters Forecasting of demand and consumption Field trials Visions and strategies The workshop is a one-day event divided into a morning and an afternoon block. In each block, each invited presenter will give a 10-15 minutes talk initially, and then there will be a poster/interaction session afterwards where the presenters will have the possibility to provide extra material, such as e.g. posters. The intention of the interaction sessions is that participants and presenters can interact directly to learn from each other and share experiences. Participation in the workshop is free of charge. Please go to the workshop webpage to register at latest on March 18. Notice that there is a limited number of seats, so please register as soon as possible if you would like to participate. The workshop is organized by the FP7 project SUNSEED: "SUstainable and robust Networking for Smart ElEctricity Distribution". |
