Dear colleagues and friends,
The 2015 Conference on Technologies and Applications of Artificial Intelligence (TAAI 2015, http://taai2015.nutn.edu.tw/ or http://kws.nutn.edu.tw/taai2015/ for visitors in China) will be held in 5-star Tayih Landis Hotel (http://tainan.landishotelsresorts.com/), Tainan, Taiwan on November 20-22, 2015. Sponsored by the Taiwanese Association for Artificial Intelligence (TAAI) and technically co-sponsored by IEEE CIS with proceedings acquisition, TAAI 2015 is the 20th annual conference and one of the most important annual academic meetings on Artificial Intelligence in Taiwan. Tainan, located in southern Taiwan, has been historically regarded as one of the oldest cities in Taiwan. Additionally, Tainan is also famous for its rich folk cultures and its local snack food. The conference is open to international participants. The number of international participants from various countries increases constantly in the past few years. The purpose of TAAI conference is to bring together researchers, engineers, and practitioners to present and exchange ideas, results, and experiences in AI technologies and applications. High quality research papers are solicited and will be published in post-conference proceedings in IEEE digital library. TAAI 2015 will cover the whole range of research and applications in AI, including but not limited to: - Agents - Intelligent Environments - AI Architecture - Intelligent Human-Computer Interaction - AI Applications - Knowledge-Based Systems - Automated Reasoning - Knowledge Representation - Cloud Computing in AI - Logics in AI - Cognitive Modeling - Machine Learning - Computer Games - Mobile Intelligence - Computer Vision - Natural Language Processing - Data Mining - Pattern Recognition - Distributed AI - Planning - Evolutionary Computation & Genetic Algorithms - Probabilistic and Uncertain Reasoning - Fuzzy Systems - Problem Solving and Search - Hybrid Systems - Robotics - Information Retrieval - Semantic Web - Intelligent E-Learning & Tutoring - Social Computing - Intelligent Environments - Speech Recognition and Synthesis - Ubiquitous Intelligent Applications - Web Intelligence - Computer Supported Collaborative Learning & Personalized Learning In addition to regular oral and poster presentations, TAAI 2015 also consists of special sessions, tutorials, technical workshops with refereed papers, and panel discussions together with keynote speeches from several well-known leaders in the field. It also includes domestic track, demonstration/exhibition track, and computer-game tournaments/competitions. Proposals for special sessions/workshops should be submitted to special session/workshops chairs by June 15, 2015. Each proposal should give half-page descriptions of the session/workshop topic and names of three to six contributors plus their paper titles. Papers submitted to special sessions/workshops will go through the normal reviewing process. Proposals for tutorials/panels should be also submitted to tutorials/panels chairs by June 15, 2015, giving a one-page outline of the tutorials/panels and any pre-requisites for the intended audience.
