CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The Texas Desalination Association is pleased to call for abstracts on topical presentations for its September conference. All abstracts will be reviewed for content and relevance to the conference theme and the topics below. Accepted abstracts will be invited to a related session and authors will be required to submit a PowerPoint for onsite presentation.

TOPICS MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
o the value of water
o the future of water in Texas
o the cost of desalination
o case studies in Texas
o lessons learned and/or problems solved (in Texas and elsewhere)
o emerging technologies and/or the latest research results
o new markets for desalination in Texas
o funding public projects with partnerships (P3 and beyond)
o seawater desalination for Texas
o energy and desalination
o social responsibility in water supply and management
o environmental considerations
o the state of permitting and regulation in Texas
o recovering produced water from oil and gas operations
o desalination projects and SWIFT funds

ABSTRACTS ARE DUE BY MARCH 31, 2015
Please limit your abstract to no more than one page.
