Smart City 360 will include a session for the presentation of demos to showcase the latest advances in testbeds and services and applications for Smart Cities. Demos are an exciting way to show the progress being made on testbed technologies and the applications that testbeds enable.
Topics Topics for demo submissions include, but are not limited to: Wireless and sensor network testbeds and applications Future Internet testbeds and applications Software-defined networks and virtualized computing platforms Software-defined infrastructures and applications Internet of Things and 5G testbeds and applications Smart Transportation platforms and applications Smart Gird platforms and applications Clean water platforms Environmental control platforms Smart home platforms and applications Smart building platforms and applications Smart factory platforms and applications Community platforms, services and applications Format (demo submissions) Demo submissions should consist of a PDF file (maximum of two pages) containing the following information: Title, abstract, and author list If the demo accompanies a paper submitted to the conference, the title of that paper A description of the demonstration Photographs, screen shots, or videos showing the demo setup are welcome, and are not subject to the two-page limit. Tridentcom will provide a table, a power supply, and a network connection to demo presenters. Specific requirements may be considered, but in general demos are expected to be autonomous (no special technical support provided). Review Demo proposals will be reviewed by the chairs, and will take into account aspects such as novelty, relevance to the conference, coverage of topics and available resources. Demos will be evaluated without regard to whether the work they demonstrate has been published or not. |
