Call for Papers: International Symposium on Frontier Applied Physics (ISFAP) 2016
“Toward Innovation and Global Collaboration”
BSD City, 3 – 5 October 2016

It is our great pleasure to announce the 2nd International Symposium on Frontier of Applied Physics (ISFAP 2016). This symposium, which continues the successful 1st meeting in Bandung, Indonesia 2015, will be organized every year. ISFAP 2016 is a part of Science and Technology Festival that will be held on 3 - 5 October 2016 in Jakarta, Indonesia. In conjunction with this symposium, Research Center for Physics has organized The 4th Workshop on Transmission Electron Microscopy which will be held on 6 - 7 October 2016. All ISFAP participants will get exemption fee to join and participate in this workshop.

ISFAP 2016 will cover a wide range of research directions in basic and applied physics. All contributed papers will be published through the IOP Journal of Physics: Conference Series. IOP Conference Series is an open-access proceeding publication indexed by ISI Web of Science (Conference Proceedings Citation Index), Scopus, EI Compendex, etc.

Invited as Keynote Speaker in ISFAP 2016 are leading scientists in their respective fields: Prof. Dr. rer.nat. Joachim Mayer (advanced materials, RWTH Aachen, Germany), Prof. Katsumi Hattori (Geophysics, Chiba University, Japan), and Prof. Koji Hatanaka (laser and optoelectronics, Chang Gung University, Taiwan)

This symposium is aimed to bring together researchers, academicians, and scholars all around the world to share information and their research results. This event will also become a beneficial media to exchange their innovative ideas and build the research collaboration in the future.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the followings:
• Laser and Optoelectronics
• Magnetism and Superconductivity
• Geophysics
• Hybrid, Ceramics, and Composite Materials
• Advanced Materials, Materials for Energy, and Nanotechnology
• Surface and Corrosion Science
• Extractive Metallurgy and Materials Process Engineering
• Advanced Characterization of Materials
