Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||
The 2016 IEEE Multi-Conference on Systems and Control (MSC 2016) will take place in NH City & Towers Hotel, Buenos Aires, during September 19-22, 2016. MSC 2016 includes three international conferences sponsored by the IEEE Control Systems Society:
- The IEEE Conference on Control Applications (CCA) - The IEEE International Symposium on Intelligent Control (ISIC) - The IEEE Conference on Computer Aided Control System Design (CACSD) MSC 2016 areas of interest traditionally include a wide range of topics in control systems, technology, and applications. This year, in addition to such topics, we would like to address new and emerging research areas in control, such as cyber-physical systems, robotics, intelligent autonomous systems, computational intelligence, architectures for intelligent control, control inspired by systems biology, vision in control, and control theory in psychology and sociology, as well as application of control theory in economics, next generation healthcare and healthcare delivery. Given growing worldwide problems on energy generation and transmission, we would particularly like to invite papers on control applications in new energy resources, and in energy grid control. In an increasingly networked world, communications, computing and control systems merge – thus networked control systems and cloud computing in control applications are also topics of special interest. We are also looking for papers dealing with quantum control and quantum feedback control. Other topics of interest include marine control systems, automotive control systems, control of constrained systems, and manufacturing systems control (planning and scheduling). MSC 2016 will be a three-day event, preceded by a full day of Tutorials and Workshops. The conference proceedings will be included in IEEE Xplore and indexed by INSPEC and Ei-Compendex. Paper submission ================ Papers submitted to MSC 2016 must be original, not previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere, and they must not be submitted to any other event or publication during the entire review process. IEEE policy regarding plagiarism, self-plagiarism and duplicate submission/publication will be strictly enforced. Papers must be submitted electronically by the submission deadline through the IEEE CSS conference management system PaperPlaza at http://css.paperplaza.net/. Paper submissions should follow the IEEE double-column format for conferences (templates will be available on the conference Web site). A maximum of 8 pages (6 plus 2 additional pages incurring a nominal fee) are allowed for each paper, all figures and references included. Submitted papers will undergo a peer review process, coordinated by the Program Committee. Submission of a paper implies that, should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register and present the paper at the conference. Invited sessions & Tutorial proposals ===================================== Proposals should be submitted through PaperPlaza by the due date. An invited session proposal should contain the session organizer(s) short bio and contact information, the session title, summary, and objectives, and the list of authors along with tentative title of papers to be submitted to the session. Manuscripts submitted to invited sessions must be full- length manuscripts and will follow the standard peer review process. Workshop proposals ================== A Workshop/Tutorial proposal should focus on a specific theme related to the main conference topics, describing objectives and expected outcomes. The tutorial proposal should contain a summary and outline and the presenters’ short bio and contact information. The workshop proposal should include the workshop presenters’ short bio and contact information, and the list of speakers. Proposals should be submitted through PaperPlaza by the due date. |
