VIDEO GAMES 2015 Midwest Popular Culture/American Popular Culture Association Conference Friday-Sunday, 1-4 October 2015, Cincinnati, OH Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Deadline for submission proposals: April 30, 2015 The Video Games area of Midwest Popular Culture/American Culture Association seeks panel and paper proposals for the annual Midwest Popular Culture /American Culture Association conference, this year to be held Oct. 1-4 at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza in Cincinnati, OH. Topics can include, but are not limited to, research in the areas of games including: • Immersive Environments • Pedagogy and Games • Usage and Trends • Gaming Theories • Collaboration in Video Games Please upload 250 word abstract proposals on any aspect of Video Games and Gaming to the Video Game area, http://submissions.mpcaaca.org/. Include name, affiliation, and e-mail address of each author/participant. Graduate students are invited to apply for competitively awarded MPCA/MACA travel grants at http://mpcaaca.org/conference/travel-grants/. Note: MPCA/ACA can provide an LCD projector for presentations. You must ask for it at the time you submit your proposal. MAC users need to supply their own adapter.
