Call for papers : Storytelling : An Interdisciplinary Journal

Research Institute for Storytelling, Chung-Ang University,Korea is seeking papers for its jounal of Storytelling,a professional academic journal that publishes research articles relevant to studies on storytelling. We aim for storytellers’ community collaborating and empathizing one another through constructing various storytelling research and practice communities. We welcome articles and research papers presenting recent developments of narrative, storytelling, digital storytelling, cultural discourses, and a variety of interdisciplinary studies including English language & literature. Storytelling is published biannually (June 30th , December 31st ). We welcome contributions by established Academics and early career researchers (Ph.D. candidates and above).

1. Requirements and eligibility
1) Submitted papers must be original and not published in any other academic journal or periodical.
2) Authors wishing to submit a manuscript to Storytelling must be a Ph.D. candidate or above.
3) Manuscripts submitted to Storytelling should adhere to the journal’s submission guidelines.
4) The decision for the acceptance of the submitted manuscript follows the journal’s submission guidelines and research ethics policy.

2. Possible topics
We welcome articles on all aspects of Storytelling studies(theory, research methodology, case study, statistic analysis, etc).

3. Submission Instructions
1) Deadlines for submission application form : April 30th (for June 30th issue) and October 30th (for December 31st issue) of each year. Authors wishing to submit a manuscript must complete the form and submit the Manuscript Submission Application Form.
2) Manuscript submission deadlines: April 30th (for June 30th issue) and October 30th (for December 31st issue) of each year.
3) Manuscript length: Manuscripts should be at least MS word 2,000 words long and no longer than 9000 words. Word count includes endnotes.
4) A submission fee and a publication fee apply for each submitted and accepted manuscript. This also applies to submissions receiving funding from a university or an external body.
