Cooperative communications are ideas to employ the wireless channel to make communication nodes help each other to implement the communication process. It benefits the communication with the gain similar to that of MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output). It improves the system capacity, transmission speed and system performance. On the other hand, cooperative communications could reduce the power consumption at the communication ends to extend the lifetime of the system. It is also suitable for multimedia communications.
Journal of Electronic Science and Technology (JEST) plans to publish the Special Issue on Cooperative Communications: Strategies, Control and Security (CCSCS). We invite all researchers to contribute their original works and to submit the articles as well as review articles that will excite the continuous understanding to this remarkably technology. Particularly, we are interested in the articles describing the new techniques for improving the current existed difficulties in the system, such as tradeoff between bandwidth allocation and power control. Potential topics include, but not limited to:

JEST (ISSN 1674-862X) is a peer-reviewed periodical, indexed by EI in INSPEC, and also included in DOAJ, CA, CSCD, CNKI, Science paper Online, etc.
All the manuscripts will undergo standard peer review processes. For manuscript preparation and submission, please follow the guidelines in the Information for Authors at http://www.journal.uestc.edu.cn/?p=category&category_id=15. All the manuscripts could be submitted by the standard submission way or the quick submission way. When submitting, please indicate that this paper is intended for Special Issue on CCSCS.
