----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------- 2015 IEEE International Conference on Research in Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (ICRCICN 2015) November 20-22, 2015, Kolkata, West Bengal, India Organized by IEEE Young Professionals Affinity Group, Kolkata Section, India and Department of Information Technology, RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, India Technically Co-sponsored by IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, Kolkata Chapter and ACM Kolkata Chapter ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aim and Scope Computationally hard tasks have always remained an enigma. Recent research has been directed towards simulation of human intelligence into mathematical models to solve large, complex and dynamic real world problems. Soft computing is a fusion of intelligent paradigms that deal with the real practical scenarios in the similar way as humans deal with them. The main aim of soft computing is to exploit the tolerance for imprecision and uncertainty to achieve tractability, robustness, and low solution cost. This Special session aims at a conglomeration of research in diverse areas and problems related to Soft Computing. The session serves as a unifying platform that fosters comparisons, extensions, and new applications. Thus the session intends to bring together scientists and engineers engaged in research and development to harness the potential of this fast growing field. Objectives of this session can be illustrated as: • To bring together the researchers across the globe in the area of soft computing through paper presentations, discussions and talks. • To provide conceptual understanding of the the key constituents of soft computing such as Fuzzy Logic, Probabilistic Reasoning, Neural Computing, Genetic and Evolutionary Computing and Machine learning. • To explore the soft computing methodologies for addressing real world complexities. • To promote newer concepts developed through the fusion of soft computing constituents such as NeuroFuzzy systems. • To encourage integrated view of soft computing techniques and tools with other disciplines such as education, governance, health etc, Call for Papers The special session will provide an interactive platform to address various aspects of the research challenges set in below mentioned categories (not limited to) and their contribution towards the theme of special session.
