AIMS AND SCOPE

Since its creation, the International Conference on Electrical and Power
Engineering (EPE) worked to become a well established and well known event
in East-Europe dedicated to the advances in most active areas of
electrical and power engineering.

At its 7th edition, the conference will provide an international forum for
academia, industry professionals and researchers to deliberate, explore
and contribute their research and discuss the latest advancements and
future directions in the emerging areas of electric and power engineering.

This year the conference is organized under the auspices of the
celebration of 100 years from the foundation of the Electrical Institute
in Iasi which was one of the first institutions for Higher Education in
Electrical Engineering in Iasi and Romania. The EPE Conference will be one
of the most important of a series of unique events that are organized in
Iasi with this occasion.

The conference also includes, besides technical sessions and tutorials, an
exhibition where manufacturers, distributors and all other companies,
institutions or organizations involved in electrical and power engineering
have the opportunity to show their last achievements in the field.



SUBMISSION

We seek original contributions as work in progress, experimental and
theoretical research in metrology, electrical machines and drives, power
engineering and energy utilization. Submissions must not be published or
under review for another conference or journal.

May 21, 2012 - Notification of acceptance

July 16, 2012 - Camera ready papers and author early registration

SPECIAL SESSION PROPOSALS:

Please, submit proposals for special sessions before March 30, 2012 to
Cristian-Gyozo Haba cghaba@ee.tuiasi.ro with the subject "EPE 2012 Special
session proposal".



PUBLICATION

Accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings,
distributed to the participants, at the beginning of the Conference. The
Proceedings will be included in the IEEE Xplore database. Selected papers
will be proposed for publication in Buletinul Institutului Politehnic din
Iasi. Sectiunea Electrotehnica. Energetica. Electronica (a CNCSIS B+
journal) or if relevant to the journal topics, in Environment Engineering
and Management Journal (an ISI journal).
