Presentations at SITCE 2016 will be delivered to an audience of transport professionals, policy-makers, researchers and all in the business of urban transport.

The SITCE 2016 Programme and Congress Committee encourages the submission of papers which review developments over recent years and present consolidated experience. Theoretical discussions not accompanied by practical examples will therefore be avoided, and the focus will be on assessing policies and actions of practical value for transport decision-makers.

Papers submitted must be original:

- texts already published or presented in public will be accepted only if they refer to new developments
- commercial texts promoting particular products will not be accepted

Papers will be selected on the basis of the abstracts, the curriculum vitae and the experience of the candidates in addressing large audiences at international events.

Accepted speakers will get to register for the event at a concessionary fee but are to be fully responsible for their travel and accommodation arrangements.
