Call For Papers

Invitation to IGARSS 2016 in Beijing
Co-hosted by the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society, and the National Space Sicence Center, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the 2016 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS 2016) will be held from 10th to 15th July, 2016, at the National Convention Center in Beijing, China.

The theme of the Congress is “Advancing the Understanding of Our Living Planet”, by which we want to stress the physical insights in Remote Sensing. Technical papers on this theme will be accepted and specially acknowledged. Other papers in all fields of Remote Sensing will also be welcome. We look forward to meeting you and talking to you in Beijing during IGARSS 2016.

IGARSS 2016 will include keynote speakers and special sessions dedicated to the “Understanding” theme. A full range of remote sensing and geoscience topics are welcome. In addition to this, the following special themes will also be addressed during the IGARSS 2016:

Sp1 New Satellite Missions
Sp2 Global Change Study
Sp3 Data Assimilation and Fusion
Sp4 Hyperspectral Image Processing
Sp5 Natural Hazards and Environmental Pollution
Sp6 Microwave Remote Sensing: Active
Sp7 Microwave Remote Sensing: Passive
Sp8 Modeling, Simulation and Validation
Sp9 Inversion & Information Retrieval
Sp10 Big Data in Geoscience
Sp11 Interdisciplinary Topics
Sp12 Student Paper Competition
