The 2019 Annual IEEE Middle East & North Africa COMMunications (MENACOMM 2019) Conference, is an annual international conference that is sponsored by IEEE Communications Society and will be organized by IEEE Communications Society Bahrain Chapter and the college of Engineering, University of Bahrain (UoB) in cooperation with IEEE Saudi Arabia ComSoc Chapter, with a steering committee consortium of IEEE ComSoc chapters from MENA Region and academic partners such as the ICT–Federation of Arab Engineers and various international renown universities.

MENACOMM 2019 conference objective is to bring together the researchers, developers and practitioners interested in the advances of modern telecommunication systems, networks and emerging ICT technologies to present the latest research results. The Conference will focus on various aspects of 5G communications and networks. The conference will include a peer-reviewed program of technical sessions, special sessions and exhibition. MENACOMM 2019 will be held on 19-21 November 2019 (with best weather over the year) in Bahrain.

Manama, the capital of Kingdom of Bahrain, the island that is uniquely situated at the heart of the Arabian Gulf in a central position across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The conference will be also a chance to explore Bahrain with its rich history and promising investment future Bahrain has a multi-culture, relaxed, cosmopolitan atmosphere and in recent years it becomes a regional technology hub and destination of investment for many international ICT companies.
