Visual Analytics is a quickly growing field which aims at supporting data analysts with interactive graphical representations of the data.

Data analysts are often overwhelmed with the sheer number of possible node-link diagrams, scatterplots, treemaps or other representations to look at, while not having a clear notion of which one might reveal interesting patterns like clusters, outliers and other structures.

We invite the submission of short and long papers from researchers and practitioners in Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning to discuss and propose innovative ways to automatically detect patterns in artificial image representations of abstract data, mimicking the human visual system for guiding the Visual Analytic process.
