8th Int. Symposium on Emerging Technologies for Education (SETE 2023)
Nov 26-28, 2023 University of Technology Sydney, Sydney, Australia http://icwl-sete.au/SETE.html Important Dates --------------- Submission Deadline: Sept. 15th, 2023 (extended) Acceptance Notification: Oct 12th, 2023 Camera-ready Submission: Oct 20th, 2023 Author Registration: Nov 1st, 2023 Call For Papers --------------- SETE 2023, the eighth Annual International Symposium on Emerging Technologies for Education is organized by the University of Technology Sydney. The symposium will be held in conjunction with ICWL 2023 on November 26th-28th, 2023 in Sydney, Australia. SETE 2023 is open to the public for organizing a workshop or track to achieve diversity in the symposium. Prospective authors are invited to submit original papers reporting on research results or novel applications in Technology Enhanced Learning and Web-based learning. The themes of the conference are, preferably: - Assessment in e-learning - Informal Learning in the Workplace - Granular Computing and Data Driving Decision Making in Education - User Modeling - Modelling Complex Learning Processes with Multi-channel learning data - Emerging Technologies for Federated Learning - AI for education - Education Technology (Edtech) and ICT for Education - Quantifying offline phenomena through online data - ICT for inclusion in quality education - Learning Analytics in Digital Learning Environments Submitted papers have to be in pdf format, according to the Springer LNCS Authors Guidelines (https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines). Formats for the submissions are - either Full paper: 12 to 15 pages - or Short paper: 6 to 11 pages Submissions will be handled through the dedicated EasyChair page https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=sete2023 Submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers. The Technical Program Committee of SETE will manage the review process and will accept submitted papers either as Full Paper, or as Short Paper. All accepted papers presented at the conference will be published in a volume of Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS). |
