JOURNAL: DISCIPLINE FILOSOFICHE - Issue 2017/2 When Oswald Külpe untimely died in 1915, at the age of 53, he was one of the most reputed and promising philosophers and psychologists of his time. As a psychologist, Külpe had established the Würzburg school, devoting himself to the experimental investigation of (imageless) thought. Besides that, Külpe contributed to general psychology, to the study of feelings, attention and many other topics. Contributions concerning all aspects of Külpe’s thought are welcome. We also consider contribution concerning the members of the Würzburg School. We aim at a definition of Külpe’s intellectual figure as a whole, including his role in the history of philosophy and of psychology, discussions of his theories and insights, his relationship with other personalities and his influence over them. We welcome texts in Italian, English, French and German language. An english abstract of no more than 150 words must be included. Manuscripts will undergo a standard process of double blind review. Only original, unpublished manuscripts are eligible.
