International Conference
Legislative And The Productional Models Of University And Student Radio And Television Broadcasting September 15th 2016 Novi Sad, Serbia University of Novi Sad is organising a conference pertaining to the objectives of the Tempus project "Development of higher education and society by creating a collaborative environment in the field of arts and media through regional student partnership in production of audio/video content" (StudAVP), project number: 544108-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-RS-TEMPUS-JPHES. The conference will be held at the University of Novi Sad on September 15th 2016. The conference organisers welcome paper proposals on following themes: • Legislative pertaining to university and student broadcasting organisations in Europe as well as, and in comparison to legislative in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania • Productional models of university and student broadcasting organisations • Copyright issues • Relations between media and the educational system IMPORTANT DATES: Abstract submission: June 25th, 2016 Notification of abstract acceptance: June 30th, 2016 Final manuscript submission: Avgust 5th, 2016 Peer review and corrections by: September 5th, 2016 Conference: September 15th, 2016 AIMS: Conference aims at providing a forum for scholars, practitioners, theorists and students to exchange ideas and experiences related to the topic of the conference. The conference welcomes participations and contributions from those involved in both theoretical research and practical applications in all aspects of radio, television, internet broadcasting, copyright and the university and student participation thereof. SCOPE: The conference covers a broad spectrum of issues with multi-disciplinary approach to the fields of law, broadcasting, cultural management, cultural policies, student organisations and the relations between the media and the educational system. The goal is to also tackle the issues of independent regulatory bodies, decentralization of state media and legislative regulation pertaining to advertising. SUBMISSIONS: Papers for the conference should describe original work of the authors with focused details. All submissions will be peer-reviewed. All accepted and presented papers will be published in an ISBN book of proceedings. Participants should submit abstracts containing up to 300 words. Besides the title of the paper, author’s name(s) and affiliation, complete mailing addresses, e-mail address and phone number for correspondence, abstracts should include some conclusions. The length of the final paper should be 4 - 10 pages including figures, tables, references and appendices. Detailed writing instructions and templates for final manuscript submission will be sent to the authors enclosed with notifications of abstract acceptance and will be available for download at the StudAVP website: www.studavp.net An electronic form of submission should be e-mailed as a .doc or a .docx document to: olivera.gracanin@uns.ac.rs OFFICIAL LANGUAGE: The official languages of the conference are English and Serbian.
