The conference provides an opportunity for PhD students, post-doctoral researchers and other young finance scholars to share their research, discuss and debate on their methodologies and approaches, network with their peers and receive expert comments and advice from leading researchers, including editors of some key journals in the field. Conference submissions are encouraged by young scholars working in all areas of: Asset Pricing; Banking; Corporate Finance; Corporate Governance; Risk and Portfolio Management; Trading; Quantitative Finance. Awards will be presented to the best paper in each stream.
This year’s format will have the usual parallel sessions on different areas of finance research, but now spread over two days and interspersed with special sessions: ‘Ask the Editor’ Panel Discussion, Practitioner Round Tables and keynote talks on the main theme of the conference.
