The VIII International Conference "Optimization and Applications" will take place in Petrovac,
Montenegro, October 2-7, 2017. The goal of the Conference is to bring together researchers and practitioners working in the field of optimization and related areas. The official working
languages of the Conference are English, Russian and Montenegrin.

The conference proceedings will be published in CEUR-WS series which is (as a rule) indexed
in SCOPUS. In addition proceedings will be indexed in Russian Citation Index ("RINC").
Extended versions of the selected papers will be published in the special issue of Journal of
Global Optimization (Impact Factor 1.219).
