2024 IEEE-EURASIP Summer School on Signal Processing (S3P-2024) - Capri 23-27 September 2024
"Understanding and modeling the world around us" The 2024 IEEE-EURASIP Summer School on Signal Processing (S3P-2024) is the 10th edition of a successful series, organized by the Italian Telecommunications and Information Technologies Group – GTTI with the support of the IEEE Signal Processing Society and EURASIP. S3P-2024 represents a stimulating environment where top researchers in signal processing and related disciplines share their ideas on fundamental and ground-breaking methodologies in the field. It provides PhD students and researchers with a unique opportunity to interact with leading scientists and network with peer students. This edition will take place on the island of Capri (Italy) in the gulf of Napoli from 23 to 27 September 2024. Depending on the sponsorships, other extras will be covered. ACCOMODATIONS Anacapri is a small and tourist town, we have some accommodation solutions in partner hotels. The expected rate is 350/450€ for a shared room (double or triple) that you will pay directly to the hotel in advance. Other details will be shared soon. VENUE S3P-2024 will be hosted in the island of Capri, with lectures given in the Multimedia Center "Mario Cacace", in Anacapri, one of the two municipalities of the island. Capri is widely known for its breathtaking natural beauties, its historical and cultural heritage and, not least, its lively environment, with elegant hotels and luxury shops mixed with typical narrow streets and colorful houses in the Mediterranean style. For all these reasons, Capri attracts a large number of visitors from all over the world and in all seasons of the year. Capri can be reached in about 45 minutes from Naples, the largest city in southern Italy, by speedboat. A few kilometers south of Naples lie the Pompei ruins, and further south the Sorrento and Amalfi coast.
