21th International Conference on Information Technology Based Higher Education and Training - ITHET 2024
Special Theme: The Future of Education, by powered IT and AI 6-8 November 2024, Paris, France Objectives: The convergence of current technologies provides the infrastructure for transmitting and storing information faster and cheaper. For information to be used in gaining knowledge, however, environments for collecting, storing, disseminating, sharing and constructing knowledge are needed. Such environments, knowledge media, brings together telecommunication, computer and networking technologies, learning theories and cognitive sciences to form meaningful environments that provides for a variety of learner needs. ITHET 2024 will have Artificial Intelligence and how it empowers education as its special theme. Location: The organising committee of ITHET extends a cordial invitation to you to come to Paris, France to attend the conference. Topics: The scope of the conference will cover but not be limited to: AI: Artificial Intelligence (DL, DS, ML and RL) in education IoT: Smart technologies and applications in education BD: Big Data and Data Analytics in education BC: Blockchain technology in education IT: Immersive (VR, AR, MR and ER) technologies in education RPA: Robotic Process Automation as an operation mode BMI: Bidirectional Brain-Machine Interface for personalized learning Online: New online delivery in the era of the pandemic (includes social networks) Complexity: Complex Social Systems and Internet of Behaviours and their role in education. AI-enabled: Re-skilling and upskilling. SPECIAL SESSION ON LEARNING ANALYTICS IN HIGHER EDUCATION : Contributions are invited in the areas of (but not limited to): - Case studies on the implementation of learning analytics in higher education - Predictive analytics for student performance and learning outcomes - Personalized and adaptive learning systems - Ethical, privacy, and legal issues in learning analytics - Analysis of multimodal data to understand and enhance student learning experiences Paper Submission: Prospective participants are invited to electronically submit their Full Paper for peer review for presentation at the conference, and for submission to IEEE. Papers that meet the scope and quality requirements of the IEEE will be published in IEEE Xplore, and be indexed in SCOPUS, and be discoverable by Google Scholar. Abstracts will be published on the conference website.
