The CW International Conference 2025 will delve into the theme of Resilience with a strong focus on the technological aspects. Speaking slots are about 8-10 minutes long and come with the potential to join a panel discussion. See below for further information on the individual topics. CWIC 2025 will explore the following areas: • Building Resilience: How can we design systems to prevent failures and recover effectively when they occur? • Learning Across Sectors: What can we learn from industries like energy, transportation, and telecommunications about technological resilience? • Cybersecurity: Addressing advanced persistent threats, cyber risks, and the technological measures needed to safeguard against them. • Digital Twins and Infrastructure Resilience: Exploring how virtual replicas of physical systems can enhance the resilience of critical industries. • Policy and Regulation: The role of evolving tech policy and regulatory frameworks in shaping future resilience strategies. • The Current Threat Landscape – what are the global threats and how does the international community work together to respond to them? • Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT): Tackling challenges like GPS spoofing and how secure PNT systems are critical for technological infrastructure. * Emerging Technologies: How can emerging technologies like quantum, artificial intelligence and blockchain contribute to the resilience and security of today’s societies and organisations? The deadline for applications is 17:00 on Tuesday 19 November 2024. The committee will review all submissions, and you will be informed of the outcome by 9 December 2024. |
