Overview ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 2025 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (IEEE SMC 2025) is the flagship conference of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. This premier event promises to be a dynamic gathering of leading researchers, educators, and practitioners from around the globe, offering a unique platform to exchange insights, showcase innovations, and explore the latest advancements in cybernetics, human-machine systems, and systems science and engineering. Themed "Navigating Frontiers: Smart Systems for a Dynamic World", IEEE SMC 2025 is set to be an intellectually stimulating experience that fosters collaboration and inspires new ideas with a diverse program of keynote speeches, technical sessions, and interactive workshops. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Call for Papers ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Contributions to theory and practice, including but not limited to, the following technical areas, are invited: In the area of Cybernetics: Agent-Based Modeling, AIoT, AI and Applications, Artificial Immune Systems, Artificial Social Intelligence,Artificial Life, Big Data Computing, Biometric Systems and Bioinformatics,Cloud and Robotics Integration, Complex Networks, Computational Intelligence, Computational Life Science, Cybernetics for Informatics, Cyborgs, Deep Learning, Evolutionary Computation, Expert and Knowledge-Based Systems, Fuzzy Systems and their Applications, Metaheuristic Algorithms, Hybrid Models of Computational Intelligence, Image Processing and Pattern Recognition, Computational Intelligence in Information, Assurance, Intelligent Internet Systems, Knowledge Acquisition, Machine Learning, Machine Vision, Media Computing, Neural Networks and their Applications, Optimization and Self-Organization, Approaches, Quantum Cybernetics, Quantum Machine Learning, Representation Learning, Soft Computing, Socio-Economic Cybernetics, Swarm Intelligence In the area of Human-Machine Systems: Affective Computing, Assistive Technologies, Augmented Cognition, Biometrics and Applications, Brain-Computer Interfaces, Cognitive Computing, Companion Technology, Cooperative Work in Design, Entertainment Engineering, Environmental Sensing, Networking and Decision-Making, Ethics of AI and Pervasive Systems, Haptic Systems, Human-Centered Transportation, Human-Collaborative Robotics, Human Enhancements, Human-Machine Interaction, Human Factors, Human Perception in Multimedia, Human Performance Modeling, Human Space Flight, Information Systems for Design and Marketing, Intelligent Assistants, Interactive and Digital Media, Kansei Engineering, Medical Informatics, Multimedia Systems, Resilience Engineering, Shared Control, Systems Safety and Security,Team Performance and Training, Telepresence, User Interface Design, Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality, Visual Analytics/Communication, Wearable Computing In the area of Systems Science and Engineering: Adaptive Systems, Autonomous Systems, Communications, Conflict Resolution, Consumer and Industrial Applications, Control of Uncertain Systems, Cooperative Systems and Control, Cyber-physical Systems, Decision Support Systems, Digital Twins, Discrete Event Systems, Distributed Intelligent Systems, Electric Vehicles and Electric Vehicle, Supply Equipment, Enterprise Information Systems, Fault Monitoring and Diagnosis, Homeland Security, Infrastructure Systems and Services, Intelligent Green Production Systems, Intelligent Power Grid, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Large-Scale System of Systems, Manufacturing Automation and Systems, Mechatronics, Micro and Nano Systems, Quality and Reliability Engineering, Robotic Systems, Service Systems and Organizations, Smart Buildings, Smart Cities and Infrastructures, Smart Metering, Smart Sensor Networks, Space Systems, System Architecture, System Modeling and Control, Technology Assessment, Trust in Autonomous Systems. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Submission Guidelines ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Authors must adhere to the IEEE conference written paper format (including paper title, authors and affiliations, figures, and references) and they must submit the draft version of the paper for review before the due submission deadlines (see dates below). These are submitted through the PaperCept submission system (see link above). IEEE is very strict about the requirements for PDF files for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library. We strongly recommend using the set of templates in MS Word and LaTeX format provided by IEEE. A4 page size should be used. Please use them to create your paper, but don’t modify the style or the format under any circumstances. Submit only original work, not previously published or copyrighted. Prospective authors are expected to submit only their original works. The conference will be using the CrossCheck automated screening system to help verify the originality of papers. Submitted works may be compared to over 20 million articles in databases worldwide. Papers that violate IEEE’s publication principles may be summarily rejected. If the violation is deemed severe, then disciplinary actions may also be taken by IEEE. For further details please have a look at the Conference Authors @ IEEE Author Center. Accepted and presented papers will be copyrighted to IEEE and published in conference proceedings, which will be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, once it meets the requirements of an IEEE quality review. For paper or abstract submission, please use the template provided by the PaperCept system: https://conf.papercept.net/conferences/scripts/start.pl |
