This session will explore cutting-edge topics such as emotion recognition, affective computing, the design and development of affective agents, and their application in various domains including healthcare, gaming, education, and more. Articles examining the latest advancements, challenges, and ethical considerations in understanding and modeling human emotions for computational applications are welcome. This session will provide a platform for attendees to gain insights, exchange ideas, and collectively shape the future of affective computation. TOPICS Topics of interest include but are not limited to: • Affective Agents, virtual assistants, and chatbots that can recognize and respond to user emotions effectively. • Affective Computing: Emotion detection, recognition, and expression in human-computer interaction. • Computational Cognitive Modelling • Emotion Recognition • Human-Computer Emotional Interaction • Sentiment analysis • Ethical considerations, bias, and fairness in AI systems designed to perceive and generate emotions. PAPER SUBMISSION Submissions must be anonymous and follow the ICAART 2025 formatting guidelines.
