Call For Papers | |||||||||||||
IEEE Cluster 2025 is the 27th edition of the IEEE Cluster conference series. It is being held in cooperation with SIGHPC.
Computing clusters remain the primary system architecture for building many of today’s rapidly evolving computing infrastructures including high-performance computing, cloud computing, machine learning training and inference systems, and big data, and are used to solve some of the most complex problems. The challenges posed making them scalable, efficient, productive, and increasingly effective require community efforts in the areas of cluster system design, advancing the capabilities of the software stack, system management and monitoring, and the design of algorithms, methods, and applications to leverage the overall infrastructure. IEEE Cluster 2025 will be held September 2-5, 2025 in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Experts in cluster computing are invited to share their expertise with the community by submitting proposals for workshops and tutorials to be co-located with the IEEE Cluster 2025 conference that will be held on September 2 - 5, 2025 in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. The Cluster 2025 workshop program will provide an opportunity to present preliminary work related to the topics covered by the conference and will give attendees access to the latest works-in-progress in the field. The Cluster 2025 tutorials program will give attendees in depth instruction on a broad range of topics on the design of clusters and related technologies and on effectively managing or using cluster resources and services. Workshop proposals can cover a broad range of topics on the design, use, or management of clusters and supporting technologies throughout the software stack. All workshops and tutorials will be held on September 2nd, 2025. Topic Categories of interest include but are not limited to the following: - Cluster node and system hardware; - Cluster/distributed operating and runtime systems; - Parallel programming models, languages, runtimes, and environments; - Performance evaluation, analysis, and optimization; - Fault-tolerance, resilience, reliability, and high availability; - Data management and distributed and parallel file systems; - Visualization, data analytics, and workflows; - Cluster management tools including resource management; - Power management, energy, and cooling; - High-performance networks and communication systems; - Clouds and distributed systems; - Cluster and Quantum computing; - Combining and enabling unique workloads (e.g. concurrent machine learning, data-centric computing, and compute-heavy applications) - Cybersecurity Important Dates Submission opens: February 3rd, 2025 Workshop/ tutorial proposals due: April 18th, 2025 Workshop/ tutorial acceptance notification: April 25th, 2025 Workshops/ tutorials held: September 2nd, 2025 All deadlines are Anywhere on Earth (AoE) Contact Workshop and Tutorial Chair Michael Kruse, AMD, Germany |
