The 12th International Conference on Energy, Sustainability, and Climate Crisis (ESCC 2025) will take place in the historic city of Rhodes, Greece, from August 25 to 29, 2025. Hosted by leading academic and research institutions—including the University of Florida, University of Thessaly, Cyprus University of Technology, BRNO University of Technology, Coimbra Business School | ISCAC, Istanbul Technical University, Ivey Business School, Hellenic Institute of Transport, Center for Research and Technology Hellas, and the International Federation for Information Processing—ESCC 2025 will serve as a global forum for researchers, engineers, and policymakers addressing today’s most urgent environmental and energy challenges.
The conference will follow a hybrid format, offering both in-person and virtual attendance. The main program, featuring keynote lectures, presentations, and poster sessions, will run from August 25 to 27, followed by invitation-only roundtable discussions on August 28 and 29. Highlights Include: -Keynote talks by renowned experts, including Prof. Panos M. Pardalos, Distinguished Professor at the University of Florida. -The Di-Hydro Workshop, hosted by the Hellenic Institute of Transport, focusing on digital innovations in hydropower—such as digital twins, predictive maintenance, and robotics. -A diverse agenda covering renewable energy, optimization, climate resilience, sustainable transport, carbon capture, and energy economics. Special Features: -The “Panos Pardalos” Young Researcher Award, recognizing outstanding contributions by emerging scholars. -Special issues in leading journals, including Energy Systems and Information Systems and Operational Research. Abstract Submission Deadline:June 10, 2025 Notification of Acceptance: June 15 Early Bird Registration: June 20 Abstracts (300–500 words) should prioritize clear, jargon-free communication and avoid complex mathematical notation.
