Dear colleagues,
The Emerging Materials Global Network (EMGN) organizes the 2nd EMGN Annual Meeting at the conference center of Cadi Ayyad University (Marrakech). The 2nd EMGN Annual Meeting will be organized in collaboration with UCA and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (Ben Guerir Campus). The proceedings papers will be published in the Springer ESE Book Series (indexed in Scopus and SCImago) and extended papers will be published in Special Issues of journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Visit our website (2026.emgn-meeting.org) to learn more about the event, which highlights the contribution of the materials science community in addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). On this occasion, we are pleased to invite you to take part in the conference (in-person or virtually) and share/discuss your latest research findings. EMGN-26 Keypoints: The EMGN Annual Meeting is one of the largest international materials science meetings in the region. The EMGN Annual Meeting aims to provide a forum where materials scientists, especially early career researchers, can present and discuss their findings with experts in all fields of materials science. The EMGN-26 Annual Meeting will take place on 26—27 October 2026 in Marrakech, Morocco. It will go ahead in person but there will be a possibility to present online (virtually). It will feature talks and panels covering a diverse range of materials science, materials engineering, and materials science-society topics. Abstract submissions (max. 350 words) will be accepted until 31 July 2026. Please read the Guidelines on the website before submitting.
