The 11th Latin American Congress on Process Safety (LACPS-2026) is an international forum dedicated to advancing the practice, leadership, and implementation of process safety across Latin America and beyond. The congress fosters collaboration between industry professionals, regulators, and academics working to strengthen safety culture, operational excellence, and risk management in high-hazard industries.

The aim of LACPS is to provide a platform for knowledge exchange among professionals across engineering, operations, leadership, and safety disciplines, bridging gaps between strategy and execution. The congress promotes the sharing of lessons learned, emerging best practices, and innovative approaches that enhance the prevention of major accidents and support sustainable industrial operations.

LACPS-2026 invites abstracts, speaker proposals, case studies, extended abstracts, posters, workshops, and panel discussions that address both theoretical and practical aspects of process safety. Contributions that demonstrate real-world application, innovation, and performance improvement are especially encouraged. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings, and selected contributions may be considered for further publication opportunities.
