Call For Papers

Recent advances in telecommunications, embedded systems, robotics, and artificial intelligence are enabling the deployment of autonomous robots in a wide range of application domains, including emergency response, environmental monitoring, infrastructure inspection, logistics, precision agriculture, industrial automation, and defense. In many of these scenarios, the use of multiple cooperating robots is essential to accomplish complex tasks that cannot be efficiently performed by a single agent.

However, the practical deployment of large-scale robotic swarms still raises several open challenges. These include the design of reliable and adaptive communication infrastructures, distributed coordination mechanisms, resilient networking strategies, energy-aware operation, secure cooperation, and learning-based control under dynamic and uncertain conditions. Swarm robotics relies on distributed coordination mechanisms that allow autonomous robots to collectively organize, share information, and accomplish common objectives. For this reason, wireless communication and networking mechanisms must be specifically designed to support cooperation, collaboration, and adaptation within the swarm.

This workshop invites original research articles and review articles addressing communication, coordination, distributed intelligence, and adaptive networking challenges in autonomous swarm robotic systems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Communication models and protocols for swarm robotics
- Delay-tolerant networking and applications for swarm robotics
- Edge intelligence and distributed AI for swarm robotics
- 5G, beyond-5G, and 6G integration with swarm robotics
