It is our pleasure to announce that the submission process for the DoCEIS'14 - 5th Doctoral Conference on Computing, Electrical and Industrial Systems is now open. The special issue for this year is "Technological Innovation forCollective Awareness Systems" The Conference will be held at Costa da Caparica, Lisbon -Portugal, April 07-09, 2014. All submitted papers will be peer reviewed and the DoCEIS'14 proceedings are expected to be published by Springer, IFIP AICT series (indexed in Web of Science), similarly to the previous four editions of the Conference.

Important dates:
Submission of short abstracts for research papers: September 30, 2013
Submission of full research papers: October 25, 2013
Notification of acceptance of research papers: November 24, 2013
Camera ready research papers: December 15, 2013
